About Me
Mum of two children with ASD and ADHD — a boy aged 9 and a girl aged 12. Both can experience significant meltdowns and may run away if unsettled. The boy also vocalises like an animal when distressed. Both children have a difficult relationship with their dad and have experienced domestic abuse in the home. I need a provider who can supervise contact visits between the children and their dad (2 hours, at our home) while I'm not present. If the children become distressed, the dad must leave the house immediately and I'll be called to help settle them. The provider's role is to keep the children safe and ensure the visit runs according to the court arrangement.
My Requirements
Support for contact visits between the children and their dad under a children arrangement order. Visits will take place at our home. We're currently arranging times with their dad, but he's suggested Sunday mornings as a possibility.
