About Me
We are a friendly family of 3 looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our baby boy, who will be around 8 months old when the role begins in end of February next year.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and is confident with all aspects of care, including feeding, naps, play, weaning and age-appropriate developmental activities. We would love someone who is engaging, warm and energetic — taking him for walks, attending local baby classes and playgroups, swimming classes, reading and playing with him, and helping him explore and develop as he grows.
The role will also include baby-related duties such as preparing and cleaning bottles/feeds, keeping his nursery and play areas tidy, washing and organising his clothes, and preparing simple meals for him once he starts solids.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
• Experienced with babies and young children
• Speaks a second language (Mandarin is preferred)
• Warm, patient and affectionate
• Comfortable with long hours (10.5h-11h daily, Monday-Friday)
• Proactive and happy to plan activities and outings
• Knowledgeable about age-appropriate development and routines
• Comfortable working collaboratively with parents
• First-aid trained (or willing to complete training)
• Able to provide references
• Up to date DBS check
