About Me
I am a full-time university student and a mum to my lovely son, Elijah, who is nearly 6 years old. We live in Colchester and Elijah attends St John’s Green Primary School.
Elijah is autistic and has additional needs. He is a happy and lovely little boy who enjoys being around people and engaging in activities. He currently still wears nappies and needs support with toileting and other daily routines. He requires 1-to-1 support and supervision.
My Requirements
I am looking for a kind, patient and experienced Ofsted-registered childminder who has experience caring for autistic children or children with additional needs.
I need someone who can collect Elijah from St John’s Green Primary School at around 2:45pm and care for him after school until approximately 4–5pm, depending on my university timetable.
He would need support with toileting/nappy changes, a snack or meal after school, and 1-to-1 supervision. It is important that the provider is comfortable supporting his individual needs and can provide a calm, safe and caring environment.
I would also need to pay using my Student Finance Childcare Grant, so the provider would need to be eligible to receive payments through the Childcare Grant Payment Service.
