About Me
Hi! I’m Jameelah, a first-time mum to our lovely little boy, Ayden, who was born in February 2026.
We’re a warm, close-knit and friendly family, and our little boy is the centre of our world. Ayden is a very bubbly, happy and affectionate baby with a naturally curious and adventurous personality. He loves exploring, discovering new things and being around people, and he’s always keen to see what’s going on around him!
We want the very best for Ayden and would love for him to be around someone who can match his curiosity, encourage his adventurous side and help him learn and grow in a warm, nurturing environment.
We’re a friendly and respectful family and really value building a good relationship with the people who become part of Ayden’s life. We’re looking forward to finding someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and will get to know Ayden for the little character that he is. ??
My Requirements
I’m looking for childcare for my son, Ayden, initially from Monday 12 October until early December 2026.
From 12–16 October, I’ll be attending university Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, so I’ll need childcare approximately 8am–6pm to allow for travel.
Following this, I’ll be completing a 7-week ambulance placement (280 hours / 40 hours per week) involving 12-hour day and night shifts on a rotating pattern. Therefore, the days and hours of childcare needed will vary depending on my placement rota. My husband may also be able to collect Ayden after work on some days, although his shifts are also variable, so some flexibility would be really helpful.
I’m looking for an Ofsted-registered childminder who accepts funded childcare hours and the Student Finance England Childcare Grant, and who may be able to offer some flexibility around variable shift patterns.
Ideally, I’d also love to find someone who could potentially continue caring for Ayden from January 2027, when I return to work, subject to availability and our childcare needs at the time.
