About Me
Hi, I’m a mum to a lovely 5-year-old daughter who attends school full time. I work in a residential home with children in care, and my partner works away during the week, so I have limited family support when it comes to childcare.
I’m looking for a caring, reliable and trustworthy nanny who could help 1 day a week with school bus pick-up, overnight stays and school bus drop off. As I work 2 days on & 4 days off the day required would change each week but I’m able to provide dates needed as early as you require them. Opportunity of additional hours if wished.
I’m hoping to find someone who would become a familiar and trusted person in my daughter’s life and who could offer some flexibility around my working rota. Building a positive relationship with someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children is really important to me.
I’d love to find someone who could become a valued part of our little family and provide some consistency and support around my work commitments.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a caring, patient and understanding nanny to support with a variety of childcare needs, depending on my working rota. Duties may include:
* Collecting my daughter from the school bus and dropping her off in the mornings.
* Preparing meals and ensuring she is fed.
* Supporting with her bedtime routine and helping her settle comfortably at night.
* Engaging in creative play, fun activities and age-appropriate games.
* Providing assistance and encouragement with homework.
* Occasional overnight stays when my work shifts require it.
My daughter has experienced some trauma which has resulted in difficulties with toileting. This is a sensitive subject, and I would be more than happy to discuss this in further detail privately with anyone who feels they may be suitable for the role and is comfortable supporting her with this.
Patience, understanding and a calm, relaxed approach are essential. I’m looking for someone who can provide a safe, nurturing and reassuring environment, without pressure or judgement, and who understands the importance of building trust and confidence at her own pace.
Above all, I would love to find someone who is compassionate, adaptable and genuinely enjoys supporting children, helping my daughter feel safe, happy and comfortable while I’m at work.
