Hi! I’m a friendly, caring and responsible childcare provider who enjoys creating a fun, safe and supportive environment for children. I’m happy to help with activities, games, sports, homework, reading and general day-to-day care with experience across all ages. I’m patient, approachable and adaptable, and always prioritise children’s safety and wellbeing. I aim to make sure every child feels comfortable, supported and able to have fun in a nurturing environment.
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children and young people in a variety of educational and residential settings. I have supported teachers in primary schools, assisted teenagers in high school lessons, and taught English as a second language to international children during a three-month teaching internship in Spain. Most recently, I spent nine weeks at Camp America as a lifeguard and general counsellor, where I was responsible for children’s safety, wellbeing and daily activities in a residential environment. These experiences have developed my confidence, patience and communication skills, while teaching me how to build positive relationships with children and provide a safe, supportive and engaging environment.
My Qualifications
I am currently working towards my degree in Occupational Therapy Bsc
A levels in Psychology Biology and Religious Studies
Ascentis English Language Teaching Certificate Level 3
RLSS NPLQ and American Red Cross lifeguard qualifications, including advanced First Aid
Advanced DBS certificate
