About Me
Hi ! My name is Louise and I am 20 years old.
I am in my third year of a degree in Law and Political Science in Lille and am currently on an Erasmus exchange at Oxford Brookes until May 2027.
As I have a brother and a sister four years younger than me, as well as experience with the Scouts, I’m used to looking after children with a serious, caring and energetic approach.
As well as looking after your children, I can also help with homework, pet-sitting or a bit of housework if needed.
I'm French so I can help your children learn a little more about the language by preparing reading material or activities in French for them, if you’d like.
I’m a good listener and very empathetic, which helps me connect well with younger children. I’m also very curious and creative, so I can stimulate them intellectually whilst having fun with them.
I currently live with my cousins, aged 5 and 11, which helps me to better understand young children and the best ways to keep them entertained.

My Experience
As far as previous babysitting experience is concerned, I’ve always been around young children and, so, quickly learnt how to look after them.
Through my experience with the Scouts, I’ve already had to look after young children. This involved planning activities, feeding them, keeping an eye on them and playing with them.
I loved that experience; it really helped me understand younger children.
As I’m quite a sensitive person by nature, I know how to listen to others, give them time to respond and avoid frustrating them. That's something I consider essential when interacting with and looking after children.
My Qualifications
I do not have any formal professional qualifications in childcare, but I have several years of experience working with children.
As a Scout Leader, I supervised children aged 6–10, organised activities and managed groups. I also have experience caring for children in informal settings.
I am responsible, patient and reliable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children.
My Availability
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My babysitting rate is £12 per hour. This includes childcare, playing with the children, reading, helping with homework and organising age-appropriate activities.
I am also happy to provide French-speaking childcare. Rates can be discussed depending on the number of children, the hours and any additional responsibilities.
