About Me
I’m a dedicated, hardworking and compassionate person who is passionate about caring for others. I’m currently a Mental Health Nursing student. I’m friendly, patient, reliable and approachable, and I always strive to create a safe, positive and comfortable environment for those around me.
My Services: I provide reliable, caring and attentive babysitting services in a safe and welcoming environment. I can support children with their daily routines, playtime, meals, homework and bedtime, while making sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for. I’m patient, responsible and happy to follow each family’s individual routines and preferences. Most importantly, I always make sure each child feels listened to, supported and cared for like they’re in safe hands.
My Experience
I have a genuine passion for caring for children and supporting families. As a Mental Health Nursing student, I have completed placements within Child Services in Hampshire, including seven weeks of experience in perinatal care. This has given me valuable insight into supporting parents, babies and families, understanding their individual needs, and recognising the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
Throughout my nursing placements, I have regularly come across neurodivergence and developed an understanding of how important it is to recognise that every child is different. I bring a parent, compassionate and understanding approach to caring for their children and always aim to make them feel comfortable, listened to and supported.
I also have personal experience caring for my six-year-old sister, including organising playdates and sleepovers, keeping her entertained and making sure she is safe and happy. I feel I have a natural instinct when it comes to caring for others and paying attention to their needs.
As well as this, I understand how important communication and good record-keeping are when caring for someone’s child. I will keep clear notes throughout the babysitting session, including relevant activities, meals, sleep, timings and anything important that happens during my time with your child. This means you can have a clear overview of how their time with me went.
I will also soon be starting work as a Mental Health Support Worker, further developing my skills in caring and supporting others. I would love the opportunity to provide your family with a trustworthy, warm and caring babysitting service, and I hope you would consider me as your babysitter.
My Qualifications
I have an Enhanced DBS and have completed STAT and MAN training as part of my professional development. My training includes First Aid, Fire Safety, Safeguarding Adults and Children, Health and Safety, and Infection Prevention and Control.
I have also achieved 7 GCSEs and am currently studying Mental Health Nursing to become, continuing to develop my knowledge and skills in caring for and supporting others.
