My Experience

I have 3 years of professional experience working with children in early years settings and currently work as a Co-Room Leader in a preschool room. I have experience caring for children aged 1-5 and supporting their learning, development, behaviour and individual needs on a daily basis.

In my current role, I help plan and provide activities based around children’s interests and development, support children with routines such as mealtimes, toileting and sleep, manage challenging behaviour, and work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure children are safe, happy and supported.

I also have experience supporting children with additional needs, including children with communication and developmental differences, adapting activities and routines to suit their individual needs.

Alongside my nursery experience, I completed a Level 3 Early Years qualification through an apprenticeship, including an End-Point Assessment, and have completed training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Managing Children’s Behaviour and Diversity & Inclusion. I have also had experience working within a primary school environment.

I am confident caring for children as part of a team or independently and understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. I am also comfortable following parents’ routines and working flexibly around their family’s needs.

My Qualifications

I have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, which I completed through an apprenticeship, including successfully completing my End-Point Assessment.

I also hold a Level 2 Childcare & Education qualification and have completed training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Managing Children’s Behaviour, and Diversity & Inclusion.

I have also completed relevant training and practical experience supporting children’s learning, development, wellbeing and individual needs within early years and primary school settings.

My Availability

I am looking for a permanent childcare position and can be flexible with my availability. I am happy to discuss different shift patterns and am able to work some weekends where required. I am also available to start as soon as possible.

I am happy to discuss the family’s specific childcare needs and find a regular schedule that works well for both of us.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour

My rate is £17 per hour, although I’m happy to discuss the rate depending on the hours, responsibilities and specific needs of the family.
