My Experience

I have experience caring for and working with children in several different settings. I have babysat children before, where I have been responsible for keeping them safe, entertained and comfortable, as well as helping with meals, activities and routines.

I also have experience working as a private tutor and at an education centre, where I supported GCSE students with their learning. This involved explaining things patiently, adapting my approach to each child and encouraging them when they found something difficult. I have also worked with children with different learning needs, which has helped me become more patient, understanding and attentive to individual needs.

Alongside this, my experience working in customer service has helped me develop strong communication, responsibility and problem-solving skills. I’m confident communicating with both children and parents, following instructions and making sure children are well cared for. I genuinely enjoy being around children and always aim to make the time fun while creating a safe and trustworthy environment.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying Psychology at university, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour and individual needs. I have also completed my GCSEs and A-levels, and my experience as a tutor has strengthened my communication, patience and ability to support children with their learning.

Through my studies and experience working with children, I have developed a good understanding of how to communicate with children of different ages and adapt my approach to suit them. I am responsible, patient and attentive, and I take the safety and wellbeing of children seriously.

My Availability

I am available most weekdays after school and fully available on weekends.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
