My Summary

My Experience

I have regular experience caring for children of different ages through babysitting for family and friends, including looking after children independently during the day and helping with their everyday routines. I am currently gaining hands-on experience in a primary school, where I support children with classroom activities, learning and day-to-day tasks. Also, last year I volunteered in various schools in Sri Lanka, where I helped children with English and took part in classroom activities. These experiences have helped me become confident, patient and adaptable when working with children, and I really enjoy creating a positive and engaging environment for them.

My Qualifications

I recently completed a Master’s degree at Newcastle University, in International Security: Crime, Conflict and Justice and previously achieved a 2:1 degree in Sociology from Newcastle University. I have also completed A levels in Business, English Language and Sociology and GCSEs including English, Maths and Science. I am currently gaining practical experience in a primary school as I work towards pursuing a career in primary education.

My Availability

I am available for childcare during evenings and weekends, as well as some daytime hours depending on the day. I am happy to be flexible where possible and can discuss specific days and times with each family depending on their childcare needs. I am available for both regular and occasional babysitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My fees are £14 per hour, however, I am happy to discuss rates depending on the childcare requirements and number of children.
