Hi! My name is Serena, I am 20 years old and am from Greater Manchester. I am currently studying at the University of Sheffield where I study Law. When I am not at University I live at home with my parents, my sister, who is two years older than me, and dog whom I love immensely. In the future I plan to work in family law, and do an opportunity to look after kids would be great experience.
My Experience
When I was younger, I babysat my two boy cousins- who were 5 and 8 at the time. While looking after them, my responsibilities included picking them up from school, helping them with their homework and cooking them their favourite meals. I did this once a week for two years.
Last year, I spent a month in Spain as an au pair, whilst I was there I was helping the little girl, age 5, learn English by playing vocab games, we loved playing on the trampoline together, where her favourite thing to say was “flying like a bird” as she jumped up and down. We also decorated eggs together for Easter Sunday. It was a very enriching experience and helped me learn how to adapt to playing with different ages of children.
My Qualifications
I have GCSES and Alevels and am currently in the process of getting my bachelors degree in law. These qualifications will allow me to help your children with homework
