About Me

Hi! I’m Charlotte, I’m 33, live in Nantwich and I’m mum to an 8-year-old boy.

I work full-time in education but have some free evenings and weekends, so thought I’d put them to good use and offer some babysitting locally ?

I’m DBS checked through work and safeguarding trained. I’m very used to the usual chaos that comes with children – games, homework, snacks, dinner, bath and bedtime and I’m also comfortable with children who might need a bit of extra patience or reassurance.

I’m very relaxed, easy to get along with and happy around pets too – I have a Labrador and a cat of my own!

My Experience

I’ve been around children pretty much my whole adult life! I babysat regularly as a teenager, and I’m now mum to my 8-year-old son, so I’ve got plenty of hands-on experience with all the usual day-to-day chaos that comes with kids ?

I currently work in a specialist education setting supporting young people with additional needs, and through my role I’m DBS checked and safeguarding trained.

I’m comfortable with different ages and needs, and happy with everything from playing and homework to dinner, bath and bedtime.

My Qualifications

Through my role within a specialist education setting, I’ve completed a range of mandatory training including safeguarding and supporting children and young people with additional needs.

I also hold a current Enhanced DBS through my employment.

I don’t have a formal childcare qualification, but alongside my work-based training I have 8 years of hands-on experience as a parent and previous babysitting experience.

My Availability

I work full-time Monday–Friday, so I’m mainly available evenings and weekends. My availability does vary around my own family commitments, but I usually know in advance which evenings and weekends I’m free.

I’m happy to take regular or one-off bookings, and may also be able to help at shorter notice depending on the day ?
