Meagan
Babysitter in Edinburgh
My Summary
About Me
Hello! I'm a Canadian who moved to Edinburgh four years ago and have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. Since moving to Scotland, I've worked as a nanny and babysitter with Supermums Ltd, supporting a variety of families. I am fluent in both English and French and have a degree in History, along with experience teaching at primary school level, tutoring, and supporting children with additional needs and neurodiverse children. Growing up with a brother 18 years younger than me gave me plenty of hands-on experience with young children from an early age. I'm friendly, reliable, and active, and I love rock climbing, hillwalking, and spending time outdoors. I currently work full-time and am looking to support local families with after-school care, evening childcare, and regular babysitting during weeknights and weekends.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of childcare experience, including nannying, babysitting, nursery work, after-school care, and mother's helper roles. I have worked with children from newborns to teenagers, including neurodiverse children and those with additional needs. My experience also includes swimming coaching and teaching.
My Qualifications
PVG Scheme Member with an up-to-date criminal background check and full driver's licence.
