Seun
Private Tutor in Manchester
My Summary
About Me
With over seven years of experience guiding students from the periodic table to punctuation marks, I bring a clear, confident, and creative approach to tutoring Mathematics (Years 1 -9), Chemistry (Years 10 -12). Whether we’re demystifying organic reactions or decoding algebraic expressions, I aim to make learning not just effective, but memorable: using real-life analogies, mnemonics, and just enough wit to keep the concepts (and the students) engaged.
My Experience
I have experience teaching Mathematics (years 1 - 12) and Chemistry to years 10 - 12 privately and in classrooms cumulatively for over 8 years, where I delivered lessons in algebra - statistics, and physical - organic chemistry. From 2020 to 2023, I worked as a private tutor, supporting students one-on-one with school-leaving exam preparation using customised study plans, mock tests, and topic-based revision.
I make math relatable with everyday circumstances teach Chemistry the way I learned it (I hated it at first) starting what the student knows first then expanding to use of analogies, mnemonics, and scaffolded questions to help students grasp tricky concepts like stoichiometry, redox reactions, and organic mechanisms. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s pace and learning style, with a focus on exam confidence and long-term understanding.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor's in Biochemistry and a Master's in Data Analysis.
