My partner and I are first time parents to our 2 month old daughter Leonora. We also have a cat called WInnie.
My Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced newborn nanny/maternity nurse for approximately 6–10pm several evenings a week. Our 9-week-old is breastfed and is currently extremely unsettled in the evenings, with prolonged crying, frequent short naps and difficulty settling even when fed and held. We’re looking for someone who is very experienced with young babies and can take over the evening care, soothe and settle her, and give us a few hours’ respite. We’d particularly like someone comfortable with high-crying babies and responsive/gentle settling. We do not expect someone to babysit and (I at least) would be at home the whole time.
It would also be wonderful if we could be taught he techniques to settle her in her bassinet (currently she refuses), and any help with bottle refusal would also be appreciated.
