My Requirements

We are a warm Brazilian and French family living in Battersea with our lovely two year old daughter, a small dog, and a baby due at the end of May 2027. We are looking for a caring nanny who would enjoy becoming a trusted and valued part of our family, ideally for one to two years or longer.

Personality is really important to us. We would love someone kind, gentle, easygoing, clean and organised, with a cheerful, positive attitude who will help us maintain a happy and calm home environment. French speaking would be a lovely bonus, as Dad is French and Mum is Brazilian.

Experience with both newborns and toddlers is essential. Initially, the focus would be on supporting us with the baby, with some help caring for our daughter, gradually progressing to looking after both children. We would love someone who enjoys nurturing children through different stages, from newborn cuddles and feeding to toddler play, outings and discovering new things.

We are hoping to find someone comfortable with a role that evolves alongside our family. Our current thoughts are:

• For approximately the first three months, residential newborn support covering days and nights, six days a week, with protected rest periods and a full day off. During this period, you would share the baby’s room in your own bed, as we do not have a separate nanny bedroom.
• After this, we would likely need overnight support for a period, although the timing is still to be determined.
• Longer term, we anticipate a daytime role around our working hours, approximately 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.

We would also love someone happy to travel with us and help on some weekends by agreement.

Our current nanny joined us when our daughter was four months old, initially helping at night before moving to daytime care when I returned to work. We have really valued the continuity and close relationship this has given our family, and we would love to build another lasting partnership based on kindness, trust and open communication.
