My Summary

My Experience

I currently work in a school nursery holding a level 3 early years qualification, where I support children with their learning, play, routines and day-to-day needs. I have experience planning and carrying out activities such as sensory play, creative activities, stories and singing, as well as helping children develop their communication, social and independence skills. I’m also comfortable supporting mealtimes, tidying up and maintaining a safe environment. I understand that every child is different, so I always aim to be patient and adapt to their personality, interests and needs.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, the EYFS, health and safety, and supporting children’s learning and wellbeing. I also have First Aid training, so I understand how to respond appropriately to accidents or emergencies. I have a current DBS check and am used to following safeguarding procedures when working with children. My qualifications, alongside my practical experience in a nursery, have helped me develop the skills and confidence needed to care for children responsibly and safely.
