My Experience

I have a wide range of experience working with children of all ages, from babies and toddlers through to teenagers, in a variety of settings.

I have assisted in a primary school, where I gained experience supporting children with their learning and day-to-day activities. I have also worked as a dance teacher, teaching children aged 3–16, which has helped me develop my communication skills and my ability to create fun, engaging activities suited to different ages and abilities. Alongside this, I have chaperoned children during dance school shows, ensuring they were supported and cared for throughout rehearsals and performances.

I have also worked in a pottery shop aimed at children, which ran a ‘Tots and Pots’ session for toddlers, giving me experience engaging with younger children through creative and hands-on activities. In addition, I have worked at a children’s adventure park, where I gained further experience in a fun, active environment.

I have babysat for a variety of families, caring for children ranging from babies to teenagers. This has given me the opportunity to adapt to different family routines, individual needs and age groups. I understand the importance of creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and supported.

Through all these experiences, I have developed a genuine passion for working with children. I love getting to know their individual personalities and interests, planning activities they will enjoy and building trusting relationships with both children and their families.

My Qualifications

I don’t currently hold any formal childcare qualifications, but I have gained a wide range of practical experience working with children of all ages through babysitting, teaching dance, assisting in a primary school and working in child-focused environments. These experiences have helped me develop my communication skills, patience and understanding of children’s individual needs. I’m enthusiastic about providing a safe, caring and fun environment for children and am always keen to learn and develop my skills further.

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

My rate of £16 per hour reflects my wide range of hands-on experience working with children of all ages. With experience in babysitting, teaching dance, assisting in a primary school and working in child-focused environments, I can offer families a caring, reliable and loyal service.
