About Me
Hi! I’m Rochelle, a first-time mum to our lovely little boy, Azhaire, who was born in March 2026. I live with my partner Abu and together we’re a loving, close-knit little family. Family is incredibly important to us, and we try to create a home that is warm, fun, nurturing and full of love. Azhaire is at the heart of our world and is a happy, curious little boy who loves interaction, play, music, sensory activities and exploring the world around him. I work within Children and Family Services and have a background supporting children, young people and families, so creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment for Azhaire is especially important to me. I really value emotional wellbeing, learning through play, encouragement and allowing children to develop at their own pace.
As parents, we friendly, down-to-earth and very family-orientated. We’re hoping to find a childminder who feels like a natural extension of our family — someone warm, reliable and caring who will build a genuine relationship with Azhaire and help him feel happy, secure and confident while in their care. We’re looking forward to getting to know someone who can become a trusted part of Azhaire’s little village.
My Requirements
We are an Islamic household. Abu is Muslim, and we are raising Azhaire as Muslim, while I am also currently on my own journey of learning and embracing the faith. It is important to us that our family’s faith and values are respected and supported within Azhaire’s childcare. In particular, we would ask that any food provided is halal, with no pork or pork-derived products, and that our Islamic beliefs and practices are respected.
We are a warm, open and inclusive family and do not expect our childminder to share our faith. We simply hope to find someone who is respectful and comfortable supporting the values and practices that are important within our home and as Azhaire grows.
