Registered Childminder Job in Leeds
About Me
Hi! I’m a friendly, easy-going and hardworking mum looking for a reliable and caring person to help with regular after-school care for my 9-year-old daughter.
I’m very family-orientated and it’s really important to me that my daughter is looked after by someone who is kind, patient, trustworthy and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I’m looking for someone who I can build a good relationship with and feel completely comfortable relying on.
My daughter is bright, funny, independent and full of personality. She enjoys reading, learning, crafts, games and being creative, so I’d love someone who is happy to get involved with her rather than simply supervising her.
I’m hoping to find someone who can become a familiar and trusted part of our weekly routine. Reliability, good communication and creating a safe, happy and positive environment are really important to me.
My Requirements
I’m looking for regular after-school care throughout the week, for approximately 90 minutes.
The main requirements would be:
• Collecting my daughter from school
• Looking after her for around 90 minutes after school
• Helping with any homework she has in her book bag — usually reading, spellings, homework sheets or maths packs
• Providing a small, healthy snack
• Doing fun activities together such as crafts, drawing, games, reading or other age-appropriate activities
• Creating a relaxed, positive and engaging environment rather than simply supervising her
• Keeping her safe and making sure she is settled and happy until I collect her
For peace of mind, I would require a current DBS check and at least 3 references from families you have previously provided childcare for. I would also be happy to speak to the references directly.
I’m looking for someone reliable, caring and genuinely interested in building a good relationship with my daughter. This would ideally be a regular arrangement throughout the week rather than occasional babysitting.
