About Me
Hi, my name is Joy! Im a 20 year old American exchange student studying Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh for the year:) I adore children and spending time with them! Im hoping to use my degree to work as an Art Therapist or in a school setting with children. I love to go out in nature to play, make art with kids and help facilitate fun and learning!
My Experience
I have babysat for a few families in the past, usually for kids ranging from ages 2-6 but I am comfortable with kids of all ages! I have Red Cross First Aid training and would be happy to complete any other training if needed. I also grew up with 5 siblings so I am very comfortable and acquainted with family dynamics!
My Qualifications
Due to being a student im still in the process of getting certified in specific developmental programs for child education and therapy, but I feel confident to say that I have a good grasp of developmental concepts and therapeutic approaches to being with children.
My Availability
I am in lectures and tutorials throughout the week but have full availability in the afternoons-evenings! I can also be available during weekends occasionally.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
