About Me
Hi, I live in East London with my husband and our happy baby daughter, who was born in July 2026.
We’re a friendly, sociable and busy family and love spending time together, getting out and about, seeing friends and family, listening to music and giving our daughter lots of different experiences as she grows.
Music is a big part of our family life – my husband is a musician, and I’m also a singer alongside my main career working for a charity. I’m currently on maternity leave from my charity role, although I’m still working as a singer.
Our daughter is our first child and is a happy, much-loved little girl. We’re quite relaxed and sociable as a family and hope to encourage her to be confident, curious and comfortable experiencing lots of different people, places and activities as she grows.
My Requirements
I’m planning to return to my charity role in August 2027, so we’re looking for childcare for our daughter from around late August/early September 2027, when she’ll be just over one year old.
We’re currently considering three or four days per week, depending partly on the overall cost and how the funded hours work. Our daughter should be eligible for the 30 funded childcare hours from September 2027, so we’re looking for a registered childcare provider who accepts the working-parent entitlement.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone warm, affectionate and nurturing who will really get to know our daughter and make her feel happy, secure and cared for. We’d like her days to include plenty of play and learning, getting outdoors, activities and outings, and opportunities to socialise with other children.
As she’ll still be very young when she starts (13 months), a close and trusting relationship with her childminder is particularly important to us. We’d also really value good communication and hope to build a positive, friendly and trusting relationship with the person looking after her.
