My Requirements

Hi ? I’m looking for childcare for my daughter from around April 2027 and wondered if you’re able to accommodate flexible days rather than the same set days each week?

I work a rotating 8 week shift pattern of 12 hour day and night shifts, so the days I need childcare change each week, but the rota repeats every 8 weeks. This means I can give you all the dates well in advance.

If I’m working a day shift, I’d need childcare roughly 8am to 5:30pm, with my partner doing drop off and collection around his work hours.

After some of my night shifts, I’d also need childcare the following day so I can sleep. I wouldn’t need this after a Friday night shift as my partner is home on Saturday, but for example, if I worked Sunday night, I would need childcare on the Monday as my partner would be at work.

To give you an idea of what the arrangement would look like, these are the dates I would need childcare for the first few months:

April 2027
1st, 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 26th and 30th

May 2027
4th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th and 27th

June 2027
3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 21st, 25th, 28th and 29th

July 2027
5th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 29th and 30th

I’m looking to start around April 2027, when my Daughter will be around 9 months old.

Would this kind of arrangement be something you’d be interested in and able to accommodate?

If so, could you let me know your hourly or daily rate, whether you charge for days that aren’t used or for holidays, and whether you accept the government funded childcare hours and Tax Free Childcare?

I’d also be interested to know whether you offer the funded hours stretched across the year rather than term time only.
