About Me
I love being outdoors and strongly believe in the benefits of fresh air, exploration and getting out and about. Depending on each child's individual needs and abilities, I would love to incorporate outdoor activities, walks, adventures and opportunities to explore into the care I provide.
I also understand that sometimes parents don't just need childcare — they need a little extra help to make life feel more manageable. I'm a naturally busy person and would be more than happy to help with appropriate household tasks while I'm there, whether that's tidying up after the children, preparing meals or helping with little jobs around the home.
Most importantly, I want every child I care for to feel safe, valued, listened to and included. Every child is different, and I will take the time to understand their individual needs, interests, routines and preferences.
My goal is to provide families with peace of mind, knowing their children are in experienced, capable and caring hands.
My Experience
I have worked in education and early years for many years and have experience caring for children from birth through to 12 years old. Since the age of 19, I have worked in nurseries and educational settings throughout the Stirling area, gaining experience across a wide range of ages and stages — from baby rooms through to primary school classes.
Throughout my career, I have learned how important it is to build strong, trusting relationships with children. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, respected and, of course, when they are having fun!
My Qualifications
About Me
I have over 15 years’ experience working in childcare, primarily with children aged 0–5 years. Throughout my career in early years, I have gained a wide range of qualifications and training, including my SVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Early Years Education, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Child Protection and many more.
I have a portfolio of my qualifications and training certificates available for parents and families to view.
Over the past year, I have been working in a primary school specialising in Additional Support Needs (ASN) and complex needs. In this role, I work closely alongside physiotherapists and speech and language professionals, developing my skills and knowledge to support children in reaching their individual potential in a calm, safe and nurturing environment.
I have experience and training in supporting children with a range of additional and complex needs, including:
Gastrostomy (PEG/G-tube) feeding
Seizure support
Medication
Physiotherapy programmes
Moving and handling

Child protection and safeguarding
Paediatric first aid
I understand that finding someone you trust to care for your child can be a big decision, particularly when your child has additional or complex needs. My aim is to provide safe, compassionate and individualised childcare, while giving parents and carers the opportunity to have some much-needed respite and peace of mind.
I believe every child deserves to be supported as an individual, with patience, respect and understanding. I work at the child's pace and aim to create a calm environment where they feel comfortable, secure and able to thrive.
All relevant qualifications and training certificates can be made available for families to view.
My Availability
My availability will work around my school hours job and my children so I'd love to help out at weekends and occasionally after school weekday evenings still having a little time for my own family
