Hello! My name is Sid, I am 27, and I’m looking to gain more experience working with children before starting my teaching degree next year!
I’m a dependable, friendly and approachable person with a genuine passion for working with children. I really enjoy creating a fun, positive and safe environment where children can feel comfortable, have fun and develop their confidence and independence. I’d love the opportunity to support children and play a positive part in their development while gaining valuable experience for my future career in teaching.
My Experience
I have gained experience working with children in a variety of settings over the years. As the oldest of three siblings with a 10-year age gap between myself and my youngest sibling, I have always been around younger children and have developed a strong sense of responsibility and patience. I also volunteered with Beavers before leaving for university, where I enjoyed helping children take part in activities, learn new skills and have fun. In addition, I have babysat for families in my local area, giving me experience caring for children of different ages and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and entertained.
My Qualifications
No formal childcare qualifications currently, but I have practical experience caring for children and am planning to pursue a teaching degree next year. I have previous experience in first aid from participating in scouting.
My Availability
Currently I am unemployed looking to work whenever is needed. Once I do find employment this will be subject to change.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.50 per hour
My starting rate is at £13 p/h
Between 11pm-6am this would be £16 p/h
