My Experience

I have over 5 years of experience caring for children, mainly through looking after younger children within my family. As the first child and first grandchild in my family, I have grown up surrounded by children and have had many years of hands-on experience helping to care for younger family members. This has included keeping children entertained, playing with them, helping with meals and snacks, keeping them settled and making sure they are safe and comfortable. Through this experience I have developed patience, responsibility and an understanding of how different children have different personalities, routines and needs. I am comfortable spending time with children and enjoy building a friendly and trusting relationship with them.

My Qualifications

Although I do not currently hold a formal childcare qualification, I have gained over 5 years of practical childcare experience through caring for younger children within my family. Being the first child and first grandchild in my family has meant that I have been involved in caring for and spending time with younger children from a young age. My experience has helped me develop strong communication, patience, responsibility and childcare skills. I am always willing to learn, follow parents’ instructions carefully and ensure that children are well cared for and supervised.

My Availability

I am available for daytime, evening and weekend babysitting and can discuss specific days and times with families in advance. I understand that every family has different routines and childcare needs, so I am happy to discuss arrangements beforehand and do my best to accommodate suitable requests. I am reliable and will make sure I arrive on time and am prepared to provide attentive and responsible care throughout the booking.
