About Me
I’m a passionate and caring OFSTED registered childminder and a proud mum of three children, based in the WD24 area of Watford.
Being a parent has given me first-hand experience of how important it is for children to feel safe, happy, loved and supported while they learn and grow.
I’m passionate about providing high-quality childcare in a warm and welcoming home-from-home environment, where every child is treated as an individual. My aim is to create a nurturing space where children can feel comfortable and confident, enjoy meaningful play and activities, develop new skills and, most importantly, have fun.
I understand how important it is for parents to know their little ones are in caring and trusted hands, and I aim to provide the same level of care, patience and attention that I would want for my own children.
After a rewarding 20-year career as a professional banker, I have chosen to follow my passion for childcare and focus on nurturing little minds. I bring with me years of professionalism, responsibility, organisation and trust, alongside my experience as a mum of three. I’m now dedicated to creating a warm, caring home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to learn, grow and thrive.
My Experience
Being a mum of three for the past 5+ years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Caring for my own children has unfolded a deep and endless love for nurturing, supporting and caring for little ones.
Through motherhood, I have gained invaluable hands-on experience in understanding children’s individual needs, emotions and different stages of development. It has taught me patience, compassion and the importance of creating a safe, loving and stimulating environment where children feel secure and valued.
Watching my children learn, grow and develop their own personalities has inspired my passion for childcare. I now want to extend that same warmth, encouragement and genuine care to the children I welcome into my home, providing them with a nurturing home-from-home experience where they can happily learn, play and thrive.
My Qualifications
Level 2 (Early Years Practitioner)
5+ years experience caring for children
My Availability
I’m available on a flexible basis and would working around your schedule - mainly Monday to Friday
And ad-hoc Saturdays
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Accept all forms of funding (term time only or stretched)
UC childcare claims
Private fee £7.00 per hour
Sibling 30% for first sibling, 50% for second or more siblings.
