About Me

I’m a friendly, caring and responsible 23-year-old qualified nurse, currently working part-time in an acute healthcare setting. I have a real passion for working with children and young people and enjoy creating a safe, supportive and fun environment for them to thrive in. I have experience working within children and adolescent services, including supporting children and young people with additional needs and SEN. Outside of work, I love travelling, reading and spending time with family and friends. I’m approachable, patient and reliable, and I would love the opportunity to support a family with their childcare needs.

My Experience

As a qualified nurse, I have developed excellent communication, organisation and caring skills through working in acute healthcare settings. I also have experience working within children and adolescent services, where I supported children and young people with a range of needs, including SEN. This experience has taught me the importance of being patient, adaptable and attentive to each child as an individual. I am confident responding calmly to different situations and understand the importance of safeguarding, maintaining boundaries and providing high-quality care. I am also comfortable working alongside parents, carers and other professionals to ensure children feel safe, supported and listened to.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified nurse with experience in acute healthcare and children and adolescent services, including supporting children with SEN. I also have A Levels in Sociology, Criminology and English Literature and Language, as well as my GCSEs. My nursing training has given me strong skills in safeguarding, communication, responsibility and caring for others, which I believe are particularly valuable when working with children and families.
