My Summary

My Experience

I have over a year of experience volunteering as a befriender with WECIL, where I provided one-to-one support to an 11-year-old boy with autism. We spent our time doing activities he enjoyed, including Lego, building dens, outdoor play, walks and trips to the cinema. This taught me a lot about patience, communication and adapting to a child’s individual needs. I’m also starting a role as a Learning Support Assistant at an additional learning needs school. I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and hope to pursue a career working with children in psychology in the future.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc (Hons) Psychology degree (2:1) from UWE Bristol, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, behaviour and individual differences. I am DBS checked and have also completed relevant training through my volunteering work with WECIL. I’m beginning a role as a Learning Support Assistant within an additional learning needs school, supporting children with a range of individual needs.

My Availability

I’m mainly looking for regular or occasional evening babysitting alongside my daytime role at an additional learning needs school. I’ll generally be available after work on weekdays, with some weekend availability too. I’m particularly happy to help with evening and bedtime babysitting, whether you need regular support or simply someone you can rely on for the occasional evening or date night. I’m happy to discuss timings depending on your family’s needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard rate is listed below, although I’m happy to discuss rates depending on the hours required, frequency of babysitting and individual needs of the family.
