Hi! I’m Camilla :)
I’m 23 and currently studying Psychology at university, and I’ve always really enjoyed working with children. I have previous experience babysitting and nannying for families, as well as volunteering with children in an orphanage. I’m friendly, caring, patient and reliable, and I love getting to know each child and making sure they feel comfortable and have fun. I’m happy to help with things like playtime, homework, meals, bedtime routines and keeping children entertained with different activities. I’m hoping to work with children in my future career, so childcare is something I genuinely enjoy and find really rewarding. I’d love to get to know a family and become someone both the children and parents can feel comfortable and confident with.
My Experience
I have previous experience babysitting and nannying for families, as well as working with primary-school-aged children. I have also volunteered with children in an orphanage, which was a really rewarding experience. Through these roles I’ve looked after children of different ages and personalities and have become very comfortable keeping them entertained, helping with routines and making sure they feel safe and comfortable.
My Qualifications
I have an Enhanced DBS and experience working as a teaching assistant with primary school children, including Years 3–6. I am currently studying Psychology at university, with a particular interest in child development and mental health. I also have safeguarding knowledge through my work in schools and am confident caring for and supporting children of different ages.
