About Me
I am a qualified primary teacher (PGCE with QTS) with ten years’ experience working with children and young people across primary, secondary and creative education settings.
I teach across the Primary curriculum including English, Maths and KS2 SATs, with extensive experience supporting pupils with SEND and EAL through inclusive and adaptive teaching.
I am also an award-winning theatre director with experience teaching Drama, coaching LAMDA and leading creative projects, bringing a creative and holistic approach to each child’s education.
My Experience
Primary Teaching: English, Maths and wider curriculum; KS2 SATs preparation; teaching across a wide range of abilities and attainment levels. I use modelling, scaffolding, practical and multisensory learning, pre-teaching, verbal rehearsal and gradual development of independence.
SEND & EAL: Extensive adaptive teaching experience, including supporting pupils with ADHD, Autism, SLCN, EAL, anxiety and mental health support, running dyslexia interventions and teaching pupils working significantly below age-related expectations.
Drama, LAMDA and Creative Education: Award-winning theatre director with experience leading creative projects with young people such as mentoring them to write, direct and stage their own plays. Experienced Drama teacher and LAMDA coach (all students achieved distinction), supporting acting, performance, communication and confidence.
