My Summary

My Experience

I have over four years of experience working with children in a range of settings. I’ve spent several summers working at children’s summer camps in the USA, initially as a gymnastics counsellor and most recently in a leadership role, where I was responsible for organising and leading activities and caring for children throughout the day. I’ve also worked as a nursery assistant and have several years of gymnastics coaching experience. These roles have given me experience supervising children, planning activities, managing routines and making sure children feel safe, comfortable and have fun. I’m confident looking after multiple children and adapting to different ages and personalities.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc in Psychology from the University of Nottingham and extensive practical experience working with children. I have worked as a nursery assistant, gymnastics coach and summer camp counsellor, including progressing into a leadership position. Through these roles I have completed child-safeguarding training and have experience being responsible for children’s safety and wellbeing. I can also provide references from previous employers.

My Availability

I currently have fairly flexible availability and am particularly interested in casual or occasional babysitting. I’m happy to help with evenings, weekends, date nights, school pick-ups or occasional daytime care, including at relatively short notice where possible. I have my own car, so I’m able to travel to families in the surrounding area.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £15 per hour. I’m happy to discuss rates depending on the hours required, number of children and whether regular or ongoing childcare is needed.
