Hi I am Liz (Elizabeth) I am an outgoing, outdoors loving, fun and creative, active, nurturing and caring person. I am a mum of two grown up children
With a zest for life and always a positive attitude in any situation, every day is a gift and every day is a day to learn and grow for everyone, not just the children and little ones.
I am fit and healthy and very active daily. I own a horse, dogs and chickens and 2 guinea pigs, I love walking, cycling and swimming too. Travelling and seeing new places is always a joy for me, having travelled in my corporate life for many years. I love to cook and have a wide range of various recipes and favourites for the children and indeed adults, which are cooked from scratch just like my mother and grandmother used to do for myself and my siblings when we grew up.
With two grown up children of my own now aged 33 and 25, I am single and live in the small village of Ashwell where I have lived for over 6 years now since separating from my husband of 28 years.
I am flexible with hours however I am looking for a full time Monday to Friday salaried role which is long term where I can become part of the family and help and nurture the child/ren to grow and become independent and confident individuals.
My Experience
Having raised my own two children, sometimes through very difficult times due to various health issues with their father, I understand how to manage a very busy household and keep the ship sailing smoothly along with ensuring the mental and physical wellbeing of the children is forefront.
I currently work for a family of 6 (4 children) who are now all attending senior school and no longer require the amount of hours previously needed when I began the role almost 4 years ago as the children are now becoming very independent and have different needs and requirements
My current role is extensive covering the details listed below but there is so much more involved as in any role
Breakfast prep and school run
Post school pick up and supper preparation ( dinner and pudding)
Laundry, (washing and ironing for everyone including adults)
Lunch (during school holidays)
walking the family dog
Bins and dishwasher and general tidying and cleaning in the house especially kitchen
Weekly shopping order (meal planning a week ahead for children's supper and / or lunches and breakfasts)
Shopping for top up larder items when needed
Errands for the household, i.e. parcel drop off, prescription pick up etc
Taking children to dentist appointments, dr and hospital when needed.
Planning playdates and activities in school holidays
Driving children to activities, fixtures, clubs etc
Some overnight stays as and when required
I have a debit card for use for the household expenses, shopping and when out with children
My Qualifications
I have a full clean driving licence over 45 years driving experience, my own car ( 5 seater mini countryman)
Full DBS check
Updating my paediatric first aid certificate
Personal Nanny Insurance
My Availability
I am currently employed full time
My current hours are
Mon to Fri (term Time) 7am to 10.30am 3pm to 7pm
I have a break in the day during term time where I go home
Mon to Fri (school holidays) 8.30am to 7pm
When the family are away I take my holidays during this time so that I am available when the children are home
I am looking for a position which would commence January 2027 if possible

My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
I would prefer to have a set monthly / weekly full time salaried wage
Currently £40,000 per annum gross / £2693 net per month / £622 per week net / £124 per day net
In addition any travel related expenses when with children if using own car at £0.46per mile
