Hi I’m Shannon! I’m a friendly, caring and reliable babysitter based in Poole. I have a level 2 qualification in childcare and I am DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained!
I am a Mum to a 3 year old little boy and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and creating a fun, safe and relaxed environment where they can feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow your child’s usual routines, whether that’s playing games and doing activities, helping with dinner and bedtime or simply keeping them company whilst you enjoy some well deserved timeout.
I’m available for occasional babysitting, date nights, evenings and special occasions.
As a Mum myself I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with the person looking after your child so I’m always happy to have a chat beforehand and answer any questions you may have. My son is also around the same age as many of the children I care for, so if families are comfortable with it, I’m happy for children to have the opportunity to play together too.
My Experience
I have a level 2 qualification in childcare and experience caring for children in a variety of settings.
I’ve worked in a nursery, caring for children and supporting their daily routines and activities.
I’ve also worked as a childminding assistant, gaining experience providing care in a home based setting.
I’ve babysitted for families, including looking after children independently and following their routines.
Not to mention - being a mum to my three year old!
My Qualifications
Level 2 Childcare
DBS checked.
First aid trained.
I do also have a care certificate so although it doesn’t directly relate to childcare but it has given me additional training in areas such as safeguarding, duty of care , communicating and supporting individuals safely.
My Availability
I’ll be working around my partners availability too. I have pretty flexible availability, so if it doesn’t match what you can see please do ask me and I can see what I can do!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
£13 p/h daytime and evening babysitting.
Two children- £15 p/h
Three children- £17 p/h
Event babysitting: From £18 p/h
