About Me
We are a small, busy family of three, my wife, our 16 months old toddler, and me. My wife works day shifts, and I work night shifts. Because our jobs often involve very busy shifts, there are some days when we cannot make it home on time. We are therefore looking for a reliable, caring childminder to look after our toddler for about 3 hours on those days.
We need someone who is patient, trustworthy, and comfortable caring for a toddler, including feeding, napping, playtime, and keeping them safe. Clear communication is very important to us. We will provide all necessary supplies, routine instructions, and emergency contacts. The exact days and times may vary depending on our shifts, so we would appreciate someone flexible who can confirm availability in advance.
My Requirements
Nappy changing: Checking and changing nappies regularly, cleaning our toddler, and disposing of nappies hygienically.
· Feeding: Preparing and giving age-appropriate meals, snacks, and drinks; following our feeding routine; supervising mealtimes; and cleaning up afterwards.
· Playtime: Providing safe, age appropriate play such as reading, songs, stacking toys, floor play, and interactive games to support our toddler’s development.
· Nap/rest: Settling our toddler for a nap if needed and monitoring them.
· General care: Supervising at all times, comforting when upset, keeping the environment safe, and following emergency contacts.
· Communication: Updating us on nappies, food, naps, mood, and any concerns.
