My Experience

Babysitting Experience

While I am not professionally qualified in childcare, I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children through family and trusted babysitting arrangements. I have always had a genuine love for working with children and have been around children of different ages throughout my life.

I regularly babysat four children on a weekly basis, every Thursday for several hours, ranging from 6 months to 8 years old. This included caring for a baby as well as older children, keeping them safe, entertained and comfortable while their parents were away. One of the children was autistic, which gave me valuable experience adapting my approach to meet their individual needs.

Being trusted by family and parents to care for their children has helped me develop a calm, responsible and patient approach, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children.

* SCQF Level 7 Scottish Modern Apprenticeship in Management – Pass
* Higher English – Pass
* Higher Physical Education – Pass
* Higher Business Management – Pass
* National 5 Mental Health & Wellbeing – Pass
* Additional National 5 qualifications including English, Mathematics, History, Physical Education, Religious, Moral & Philosophical Studies and Practical Cookery

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My standard rate is £13 per hour for babysitting. I am happy to discuss rates depending on the number and ages of children, length of the booking and any additional responsibilities required.
