Hello! We are a loving family based locally in Shefford, looking to secure the perfect childminder for my wonderful daughter starting in April 2027.
Because I work at the airport, my schedule is entirely shift-based. I work a rotating routine of 2 days on, 4 days off. This means we require care for 3 days a week, but the specific days will change from week to week. Additionally, because of airport operational hours, some of my shifts run late to 23:00 finish.
My Requirements
I am looking to build a long-term partnership with a local childminder who can offer high-quality care alongside exceptional flexibility:
• True Shift Flexibility: Ability to accommodate a rotating 2-on, 4-off schedule and late-evening finishes (up to 23:00). I require childcare from April 2027, my daughter will be approximately 10 months old.
• Early Years Focus: We are looking for an environment that mirrors a nursery experience. It is very important to us that our daughter follows the EYFS framework to receive all the learning, socialisation, and fundamentals needed to confidently transition to school.
• Location: Ideally based very close to Shefford for smooth drop-offs and late-night pick-ups.
