My Summary

My Experience

I have experience working with children of different ages, from newborns and infants to toddlers, school-aged children and teenagers.

Through my Children’s Nursing degree at King’s College London, I have gained valuable hands-on experience caring for babies and children in various paediatric hospital settings, including neonatal care and general paediatric wards.

Alongside my nursing studies, I have experience working in an after-school club, where I developed skills in supervising children, organising engaging activities, supporting their individual needs and maintaining a safe and positive environment.

I also have experience providing babysitting services for families, including caring for young children, following established routines and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

My combined experience in healthcare and childcare has strengthened my communication, patience, adaptability and ability to provide attentive, compassionate and reliable care.

My Qualifications

I am currently completing my BSc in Children’s Nursing at King’s College London, where I am in my third and final year of study.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have completed paediatric first aid training through my university.

My nursing education has provided me with knowledge and practical training in child development, safeguarding, infection prevention, recognising signs of illness and supporting children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

I regularly undertake clinical placements in paediatric healthcare settings, allowing me to continuously develop my practical skills, professional judgement and ability to provide safe, compassionate care.
