About Me
Hello, my name is Kirstie. I have over fifteen years' experience within the Childcare sector. I am a mum to my little ray of sunshine, my 19 month old daughter and the true inspiration behind this setting. In our 'home-from-home', we love getting creative with arts and crafts, sensory play and diving into a world of books during cosy reading times. We also love being out in the fresh air spend plenty of time exploring our secure garden and visiting local toddler groups to build social skills. We love the great outdoors and frequently go on nature walks and fun days out to local parks, woods and attractions, ensuring little ones learns with fun adventures every day. My goal is to bring high-quality early years care right to our local community in Colne Engaine/Colchester—giving your children the exact same nurturing environment I want for my own daughter.
Our setting offers a wonderful balance for little ones. We have a brand new, purpose-built cabin dedicated to play and early learning, alongside our comfortable home lounge and kitchen diner for cosy downtime and shared meals.
My Experience
I have spent the last fifteen years working within the childcare sector. My journey has taken me from Montessori nurseries to working as a specialist one-to-one coach for children with Autism and ADHD and volunteering in a orphanage in South Africa. Within these fifteen years I have spent a decade working as a professional nanny for some truly beautiful families, spanning from New York to London, Suffolk, and Essex.
My Qualifications
BA Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies
Full Paediatric first aid

My Availability
Monday to Friday
7am - 7pm
Year-round childcare

My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
I am currently applying for funding.
The rates currently do not include food due to allergies and child preferences. I ask the parents to provide their little ones food for their day. This may change in the future if parents request.
