About Me
I'm looking to offer friendly, reliable and caring childcare, helping families with their day-to-day routines and making sure children feel happy, safe and comfortable in my care. I'm happy to help with after-school care, playing games, creative activities, reading, preparing simple meals and keeping children entertained. I'd also be keen to help with homework and other parts of the evening routine.
I'm a patient, approachable and responsible person, and I'd love to build a positive relationship with both the children and their parents. I'm keen to learn, open to feedback and excited to develop my experience in childcare.
My Experience
I have some previous experience working with children through Camp America, where I worked at a summer camp, running a Rainbows club when I was younger, and babysitting for a family friend's baby. These experiences helped me develop my confidence around children and taught me the importance of being patient, responsible and creating a fun, welcoming environment.
Alongside this, I've worked in hospitality for several years, which has helped me develop strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to stay calm, adaptable and reliable in busy situations. I'm now keen to build on my childcare experience and develop my skills further in a regular nannying role.
My Qualifications
I don't currently hold any formal childcare qualifications, but I have some practical experience through Camp America, running a Rainbows club and babysitting. I'm keen to develop my skills further and would be happy to undertake any relevant training, including paediatric first aid.
