About Me
I am currently a student nurse studying children’s nursing and i have my level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. I have over 100 hours of hands-on placement experience in a SEN school. Alongside my studies i have spent time working as a shift manager at Costa Coffee, which has strengthened my time management, team leadership and working under pressure. I am looking for a flexible role where i can provide high quality attentive care to young children while accommodating my university schedule.
My Experience
Through my level 3 qualification, I have gained over 200 hours of diverse, hands on clinical and educational placement experience. This includes 100 hours in a residential care home, where I provided compassionate person centred care to dementia patients, managing complex needs and communication barriers. I completed a further 100 hours within the early years department of a special educational needs school, where I supported young children with profound learning and physical disabilities. This background has given me a strong foundation in safeguarding, specialised care techniques and adapted communication strategies for vulnerable individuals.
My Qualifications
- BSc (hons) nursing Child at university of Worcester - current first year student
-level 3 extended diploma in health and social care at Heart of Worcestershire college
Achieved: D+DD
- i have all my GCSEs including English and maths
- i also have CPI safety intervention training
-level 2 award in manual handling
My Availability
I am available all weekend however I have to hand in my 4 weeks notice at Costa and i am available in the week however, it changes depending on my placement weeks
My Fees
- Nursery work from £10.00 per hour
standard hourly rate: £10 an hour
Weekend rate: £15 an hour
