My Summary
About Me
Hi parents, my name is Hannah. I am originally from Dublin and have been living in London for over 10 years. I am a freelance tutor, performing arts teacher and nanny with 15 years of experience working with children.
I have seen many students through the 11+ exams with 100% pass rate and I would be delighted to help your child reach their full potential.
I am also a dog sitter so I will be more than happy around your pets.
My Experience
I trained as an actor at the Dublin Conservatory of Music and Drama, where I took modules in Drama Facilitation and Theatre in Education that placed me in primary schools.
Upon graduating I moved to Hong Kong where I taught English and Drama for 3 and a half years, alongside giving private tuition to primary school students. During this time I also spent 6 months a live-in English teacher for a family with twin 12 year olds.
I then moved to London where I trained in Musical Theatre at Chiswick Theatre Arts alongside front of house and supervisor duties at the West Ends Prince Edward Theatre.
When my training ended, I began teaching performing arts freelance for various youth academies. I worked as the drama teacher and the vice principal the Pauline Quirk Academy Bromley alongside nannying part time for a family with 2 children who I saw through all of primary school.
I also continued giving private tuition to primary school students. I obtained my 'Teaching English as a Foreign Language' Certificate so I could also give tuition to non native English speakers and give provide TELF tutoring online.
I am now currently in the process of getting my Qualified Teacher Status.
I still work as a performing arts teacher at Centre Stage Theatre Academy, Gems Performing Arts and Kids on the Move; which run classes through primary schools and academy venues.
I am also DBS checked and up to date on all current safe guarding training.
My Qualifications
BA Hons Drama Performance
Higher Diploma Musical Theatre
