Hi! I'm Ruby and I'm friendly, caring, and creative person with experience working with children in a variety of settings. I currently work 9-5 as a Community Manager for a co-working site. I am looking for extra work in the evenings and the weekend to help me save some money up before I go travelling
My Experience
I babysat regularly between the ages of 16 and 18, and I have also worked at arts and crafts workshops for children at festivals, as well as having experience working with SEND children through youth groups. These experience have helped me develop a patient, inclusive, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of different ages and needs.
My Qualifications
Although my experience is mainly practical, I have developed valuable childcare skills through the things already listed. I also have a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health from Harlow College, which I attained whilst studying for my degree at the University of Manchester. At Manchester I graduated with a first in Comparative Religon and Social Anthropology.
