Key Responsibilities

1. Childcare & School Runs
* School & Nursery Transport: Assist with morning prep, getting the 7 and 9-year-olds to school, and managing pick-ups/drop-offs (a clean UK driving licence and confidence driving a family car is essential).

* Daytime Care: Look after the 1-year-old and 4-year-old (who may be in part-time pre-school/nursery), including engaging play, nap routines, feeding, and outdoor trips.
*
* After-School Support: Supervise homework for the older girls, manage after-school snacks, and coordinate afternoon activities or clubs.
*
* Bedtime & Routines: Help with baths, pajamas, and bedtime stories when required.
*
* Pregnancy Support: Assist the mother with day-to-day physical tasks, heavy lifting, and managing energy levels as the pregnancy progresses.
*

2. Housekeeping & Domestic Management
* General Upkeep: Daily tidying, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and keeping main living areas clean.
*
* Laundry & Ironing: Family laundry, folding, putting away clothes, and ironing school uniforms/adult wear.
*
* Kitchen & Meals: Loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping down surfaces, meal-prepping, and cooking nutritious family dinners.
*
* Errands & Organization: Grocery shopping, organizing children's clothes as they outgrow them, and managing household inventory.
*


Candidate Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience working as a nanny, nanny-housekeeper, or maternity/household assistant in a multi-child home.
*
* Qualifications:
* Valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) or willingness to undergo one.
* Paediatric First Aid certification (desirable).
*
* Driving: Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record and experience driving larger family vehicles.
*
* Personal Traits: Calm under pressure, patient, trustworthy, energetic, and adaptable. Managing four young children requires a good sense of humor and strong organizational boundaries.
*
* References: Contactable, verifiable references from previous household or childcare employers.
