My Summary

My Experience

I have a variety of experience as a a TA working with young people across a wide range of ages, as well as experience with children and teens with special educational needs.

I am incredibly passionate about working with kids and young people and I hope to become a social worker in the near future.

I have worked in a few mainstream primary schools primarily with ages 4-8, however I currently work in a SEND school and college where I have gained experience with a wide range of ages and needs (ages 4-19)

Due to my broad range of experience with various ages and needs I understand that different children need different approaches and I’m happy to work with the parents to ensure that I am catering to each child’s individual needs.

I love cooking and baking so I am incredibly happy to provide home cooked meals whilst I am there, as well as getting any house jobs done if thats required.

I love supporting students through activities as well as learning through play; whether thats through crafts, outdoor activities or sport.

I do have a broad range of qualifications including 9+ GCSES (A*-B), 3 A-levels and a first-class degree so I am happy to support with homework and incorporating learning whilst babysitting if its desired.

My Qualifications

I have a first-class honours degree in psychology from Bournemouth University and I have completed a variety of training over the last year whilst working as a TA, including first aid training, safeguarding and food & hygiene courses.

I also have 9+ GCSES (A*-B) and 3 A-levels.

My Availability

I am available weeknight evenings from 5.30pm (6pm onwards on Tuesdays and 4pm onwards on Fridays). I am also available mornings, afternoons and evenings across the weekends

I currently work in a school so I can be available on weekdays during the school holidays.

£15 an hour (I charge a minimum of 2 hours per booking)
