I have 18 years of experience working in the NHS and healthcare sector as a radiographer, including experience in paediatric healthcare settings.

Throughout my professional career, I have worked closely with children and their families, developing strong communication skills, patience, empathy and an excellent understanding of safety, hygiene and safeguarding.

As a mother of a four-year-old boy, I also have personal, hands-on experience caring for a young child and understanding children's daily routines, emotional needs and development.

I understand the importance of providing a safe, caring, positive and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and secure.

I am happy to help with school pick-ups, preparing snacks and simple meals, creative activities, playtime and evening or bedtime routines.

I am organised, dependable and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility developed through my healthcare career and parenting experience.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified Health care professional with 18 years of experience in the NHS and healthcare sector, including working with children in paediatric hospital settings.

My qualifications and training include:

- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Child Protection and Safeguarding Training
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Professional qualification in Diagnostic Radiography
- Extensive NHS training in patient safety, infection prevention and control, communication, basic life support and emergency procedures.

My healthcare background has provided me with strong safeguarding awareness, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in challenging situations.

I am also a mother of a four-year-old boy, giving me valuable hands-on experience in childcare and child development.

I hold a full driving licence and have my own car.

My Availability

I am based in Harborne and available for after-school childcare and evening babysitting, generally until 8 pm.

I have my own car and can travel to families in Harborne and surrounding areas, including Edgbaston, Northfield Quinton,Selly Oak etc
