About Our Family:
We are a warm, organized, and hard-working family of four living in Golders Green (NW11). My husband and I both work, which includes office hours and night work, so our home relies on good routines. We are looking for someone to become a reliable extension of our family until end of February 2027, at which point our family will be transferring/relocating out of the area.
We have two wonderful children:
• Our 6-year-old son is energetic, creative, and very independent. He is great at entertaining himself and needs very little direct supervision during these brief turnaround windows.
• Our 9-month-old baby girl is a happy, curious infant. Because of her age, she requires close attention, gentle care, and someone confident with infant routines (feeding and bedtime).
We currently live in a shared household with another lovely family of three. They are entirely self-sufficient, look after their own child, and manage their own busy schedules, so they are unfortunately unable to assist us with our childcare gaps.
During your shift, they will be focusing on their own routine, so your workspace will remain completely clear. You will only be responsible for our 9-month-old daughter and our 6-year-old son.
Hours Needed (Fixed Weekly Schedule):
• Wednesdays: 18:00 to 20:00 (2 hours)
• Thursdays: 07:00 to 09:00 (2 hours)
• Fridays: 18:00 to 20:00 (2 hours)
My Requirements
The Role:
We have two children, but your primary focus will be on our 9-month-old baby girl (handling bedtime routine wind-down on evenings, and morning waking/feeding on Thursdays).
Our 6-year-old son will also be at home during these turnaround windows. He is incredibly independent, needs very minimal supervision, and largely looks after himself, but someone must legally be in the house with him.
