About Me

Hi, I am Callia! I am 22 and currently in my final year of undergraduate studies at The University of Edinburgh and am studying Applied Sports Science BSc. I have an interest in sports (especially dance), music and enjoy arts and crafts! I volunteer with Dance for Parkinson's in my free time and work part time as a first aider and also in hospitality.

My Experience

At home I have four nephews with a fifth on the way ranging from ages 3-6 so have plenty experience looking after babies/toddlers/young children!
I have a qualification in Sports First Aid and have experience mainly in young boys rugby games at George Watsons but also activities and demographics outside of this.
I have volunteered with Dance base in the past with P7 students, using dance and a social club as a tool to help kids socialise prior to advancing into high school; I am also currently beginning to volunteer with their Dance For Parkinson's course!
I work part time in hospitality at the student union which welcomes all ages and families in throughout the day.
During COVID, I volunteered in my local home hospital delivering packages to and from families who were not able to see each other.

My Qualifications

I have 3 A Levels and am currently studying in my final year in Sports Science at The University of Edinburgh. I also have a qualification in First Aid which I acquired through SCRUMCAPS.
