About Me
Hello! I'm a 39-year-old American, living in central London (Bayswater) with my husband, Adam. We moved to London about a year ago, and welcomed our lovely baby girl Lucie in May of this year. We're easygoing and casual people looking for a wonderful family nanny for our sweet girl.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny for our now 4.5 month old baby girl Lucie, starting in late November/December, when she will be 6 months old. Lucie is (at least thus far!) a very happy and easy baby who cries infrequently, naps well, and likes most people. We are either potentially interested in a temporary nanny for November/first three weeks of December, or a semi-permanent nanny through at least May of next year.
We live in central London (Bayswater) and we're open to either a live-in or live-out nanny (we have a separate basement apartment unit), but would probably prefer a live-out. My husband and I both work hybrid remote/in-person schedules. We would typically have the nanny downstairs with the baby in a dedicated space during the day, and we might drop in to say hi at various times throughout the day. We would generally be looking for something like 9-6PM weekday hours, with occasional evenings or weekend time, but exact parameters are flexible. We would also potentially be interested in bringing the nanny along to accompany professional or personal travel, but this is not a hard requirement.
Above all, we want someone who is experienced with babies and can be trusted to keep our daughter safe and well-cared for. Beyond that, we want someone who will be caring and engaging, with energy and ideas for stimulating activities for her, and the ability to bring her outdoors frequently when the weather permits. Flexibility to adjust schedule/take on additional hours would also be appreciated. We are generally casual and easygoing people and would love to have a relaxed, friendly dynamic of equals with the nanny vs. a more formal employer-employee relationship dynamic. We'd also appreciate someone who can plan and prepare healthy and age-appropriate food for her to eat as she transitions to solid foods. Great sense of humor is a must! :)
